Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap has not been included in Thomas Tuchel's first England squad.

The new Three Lions boss, who has been at Town's last two games, has selected Karry Kane (Bayern Munich), Marcus Rashford (Aston Villa) and Dominic Solanke (Tottenham) has his three forward options for this month's World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia at Wembley.

The 26-man squad includes four goalkeepers, a recall for Jordan Henderson (Ajax), plus first call-ups for Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal) and Dan Burn (Newcastle).

Delap joined the newly-promoted Blues from Manchester City last summer for an initial £15m with the potential to rise to £20m.

In an eye-catching debut campaign at top flight level, the bustling 22-year-old has scored 10 goals in 27 appearances. That makes him the third highest-scoring Englishman in the Premier League behind Chelsea's Cole Palmer (14) and Ollie Watkins (13).

Delap, who spent the two campaigns prior to this one on loan at Championship clubs Stoke, Preston and Hull, has been capped 10 times by England at Under-21 level.

Ipswich haven't had a player called up by England since Richard Wright in 2000.
